Quote me wherever you like: Our tour in the early hours of Monday morning was without a doubt the experience of a lifetime, and I was so happy to be able to able to give it as a gift to my son. He has always had a passion for volcanology, and was ecstatic with (a) the views of flowing lava off the cliffs in the dark and in the sunrise, and (b) the skill of the captain handling the boat to get us so close. We all experienced the thrill, thank you for keeping us safe, and sharing your passion.
Tamarind was a vast reservoir of knowledge, and since I was sitting next to him I got the benefit of his experience and wisdom. Awesome.
You guys need to revise your website. It still says that there is no lava flowing into the ocean…gosh knows how many folks read that and decide not to sign up. (old post 2009) Get photos on and update your information. You’ll have the world clambering to get on the boat.
